Rishiri Konbu 1kg




The most highly regarded and well known of the premium kombu’s Rishiri Kombu is sweet slightly salty and quite hard. Its dashi is rich savory and clear. The hard leaves prevent its natural colour from seeping into the dashi.
It is especially favoured by the grand master chefs of Kyoto’s traditional Kaiseki cuisine for use in their classical Japanese cooking.
